Illinois Real Estate Course


Begin a training course through American Investment Training to get your license in real estate online. The Illinois online class covers all of the hours and course topics needed to pass your real estate exam.

The full 60 hour class includes principals, practices and Illinois regulations and law. Components of the training topics also covers Covers the basics of ownership, transfer and use of property, real estate law, finance, contacts and other required topics. Qualifies passing students to take the Illinois licensing exam.

Continuing Education

All CE courses are updated and current to Illinois regulations for agents licensed in that state.

License Law and Escrow - This course covers Illinois license law. Topics include the purpose of license law, categories of licenses, license renewal, and escrow accounts.

Training - Agency and Fair Housing - This ce training includes agency and fair housing. The agency portion of the course covers law, agent responsibilities, commission and the multiple listing service. The fair housing portion of the course covers enforcing the fair housing act, regulations, amendments, and violations.

Our online class delivers state of the art course presentations to our students. All Illinois students will receive a certificate of completion. Our students are prepared to pass the state exam after our class.

State regulations:

Pre License

Salesperson

To be eligible for an Illinois license;

Be at least 21 years old or 18 year old

Graduated from high school or obtained the equivalent of a high school degree

Successfully completed the 45-class hour Real Estate Transactions course

If you are at least 18 years of age, you have to have successfully completed at least 4 semester of post-secondary school study as a full time student or the equivalent, with major emphasis on real estate courses, at a school approved by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Pass a course and state final exams

Take a 45 hour Real Estate Transaction course

Illinois Broker

All people for a brokers license must meet the following criteria

Completed at least 120 hours, 45 of which shall be those required to obtain a salespersons license plus 15 hours in brokerage administration courses

For applicants who currently hold a valid real estate salespersons license, give satisfactory evidence of having completed at least 75 hours in real estate courses, not including the courses that are required to obtain a salespersonís license

Pass all course and state final exams

Illinois has reciprocity with following states: Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
