Appraisal Overview - This training course covers 14 hours of continuing education credit for Michigan appraiser license holders. The class gives you the knowledge and understanding of the appraisal process. The license training covers the types of value, the valuation process, general and specific data analysis, residential real estate markets, neighborhood analysis, site and improvement description and analysis and the concept of highest and best use.
National USPAP Update Course Equivalent - This CE course covers license students with knowledge and understanding of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. This meets the 7 hour National USPAP continuing education requirements for license renewal in Michigan.
Class Topics include: Public trust and Appraisal Standards and the structure of USPAP. Students will re-evaluate the decision tree regarding valuation services and appraiser practices and cover when USPAP applies. The class includes the scope-of-work. Myths and misconceptions about USPAP are covered.

CE Regulations for MI
For limited Michigan appraisers, the continuing education requirements are 14 hours per year after the second renewal. Fourteen hours of continuing education are required per year for all appraiser categories.
